Version 2.0 of LLBLGen Pro is out. The fine developers at Solutions Design have made a number of improvements! Upgrading is a no-brainer. I’ve also changed the price on my book to a free download. Thanks to all the readers who’ve made Rapid C# Windows Development a success! Hopefully the book will continue to be helpful, even though some of the API has changed with the new version.
At this point in time, I don’t anticipate updating the book myself to stay current with the new version. However, I am happy to help any aspiring technical writer who wants to give it a shot. I can provide my source material, templates, art, and graphics. If you’re interested in the project, please email me your information and a writing sample.

That’s a shame. I was sort of hoping you’d do a new version. I bought this as a download the other day, but I got a bit stuck fairly early on due to the differences between 1.0 in your book and the 2.0 version I was using.

Let me know where you’re having trouble. I’m working with the new templates on a new project and I’m happy to help however I can. I am using the self-servicing templates mostly, though, and from what I can tell, those have not changed much. I believe the adapter templates changed the most with all the generics features. I’ve tried to download your book from lulu.com, but it wants credit card details.
I thought it was for free?

Problem solved – thanks Joseph.
I should have been more patient and waited for the lulu.com confirmation email.
This is a good idea for a book.
I’ll post this onto a local usergroup site in South Africa – http://www.sadeveloper.net.

Thanks Joseph. I am evaluating LLBGenPro and having your book as a free download beats doing technical evaluation based on the reference manual hands down.
The books is nicely typeset by the way. It’s a pleasure to read.
